Borehole
Measurements
Geophysical
measurements in boreholes sample data from the borehole fluid and
the immediate vicinity of the hole. These depth-related digital
data sets, the so-called logs, yield an abundance of information
about the geological and hydrological character of the underlying
rock strata, which would otherwise be accessible only by means of
an exhaustive laboratory examination of core material. Thus, log
measurements provide a cost-efficient alternative to expensive
core sampling and laboratory investigation.
We
plan and supervise borehole
measuring campaigns and offer our expertise at analysing
and interpreting gathered data.
