Near-surface geothermal energy is available irrespective of the time of the day and year and allows for an economical heating and air-conditioning of buildings. The number of installed geothermal plants has grown considerably in recent years. In addition to single houses and larger residential complexes, administrative and industrial plants are increasingly being supplied with geothermal energy.


The basic prerequisite for a cost-effective heating, cooling, ventilation and hot water preparation with geothermal heat is an optimal adaptation of the system to the existing geothermal background conditions and the on-site use requirements.

Geophysica Beratungsgesellschaft mbH provides engineering services from preliminary planning to detailed design for geothermal systems of residential and commercial construction.

We use standard software such as EWS for design and dimensioning. Questions regarding the thermal influence of the subsurface soil and groundwater are solved with our own numerical simulation tools.
